The Last One

Well this is it. I thought I should post one more time to finish things off. I am home now and it is great to be with the family again and also to have carpet, air conditioner, and real ice cream. I am kind of in a daze right now so I will try to make this post coherent. My last two weeks on the mission I worked hard and we had success. Nobody was baptized, but we marked some baptismal dates. I worked on my last day the same as I worked on my first day, maybe a little more distracted though. Some highlights were going up with the zone to the volcano and eating grapes grown there, Seeing turtles in the ocean finally, and baring my last testimony at Zone Conference. My last few days I said many goodbyes and bought some souvenirs and had an interview with the President. There was also a very emotional last dinner with everyone going home. The trip itself was awful but I am here now so who cares. I love Cape Verde and the people there. I cannot imagine my life without this mission. I know that this is the work of God going forth to all the world. I know my Savior lives. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
